Lenore Field (Queen Elizabeth I) has worked with many Triangle theater companies within the last three decades. She was last seen in Burning Coal Theatre Company’s production of My Fair Lady. Some other memorable performance experiences include Into The Woods, Nicholas Nickleby Part 1 & 2, and A Little Night Music with PlayMakers Repertory Company; Look Homeward, Angel with Syracuse Stage; The Road to Meccaand Sunday in the Park with George with Burning Coal Theatre Company; A Doll’s House, Part 2 with RedBird Theater Company; Marjorie Prime, The New Electric Ballroom, and Age of Arousal with Manbites Dog Theater; Grand Horizons, and The Herd with Honest Pint Theatre; Souvenir: A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins, Shirley Valentine, and Long Day’s Journey Into Night with Ghost and Spice Productions. She is excited to appear in this original work of SHE STILL STANDS.

Lindsey Womack (Lady Southwell) was a member of the Austin College Improv Troupe Comany for three years. She She has performed with Redbird Theatre and Center Theater Company and served as Assistant and Intimacy Director for Stone Soup Theater Company, Center Theater Company and Boy with Box Theater Company.

Charlie Costal (Yeoman/Time) is an actor and journalist from New Jersey with ten years of stage experience and three student film credits. A lifelong storyteller, he has played roles from Sky Masterson toAmos Hart on professional and amateur
stages in NJ and NC.

Alyssa Krasovich (Thomazina) is a graduate of Barton College (‘24). She has recently been seen on stage with Carolina Shakespeare as Romeo and Desdemona. When not on stage, she works at Movie Makers Inc, teaching acting, movie making and Dungeons & Dragons. A special shout out to the people who support her, including but not limited to, Sherry Lee Allen, Melissa Lozoff, her grandma and her amazing parents.

Michael Shannon (Archbishop/Henry 8) has an M.F.A. in Theatre from UNC at Chapel Hill, and a Master of Divinity from Emory University in Atlanta. He has 50+ years of acting experience in professional and community theatre. Michael has worked locally with Playmaker’s Repertory Company, the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, Odyssey Stage Company.

Lily Kays (Young Queen) (They/She) is a Durham based theatrical Artist. They were recently seen as the Fairy in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” as well as #25 in “The Wolves” with PlayMakersRepertory Company. This fall they will be in 12 Angry Jurors as #4. Lily also works as an intimacy and fight director with recent credits with “Sweeney Todd”, “The Verge”, “The Book of Will” and “You Can’t Take it with You”.

Mark Filiaci (Cecil) is a Pennsylvania native who moved from NYC to Durham, NC in 1985. He has performed on numerous stages including Manbites Dog, Temple Theater, RedBird Theater, Cape Fear Regional, Barter Theater, Aggregate, Louisville Rep, Theaterfest, Deep Dish, Rep, NC State (Guest Artist) and ACT among them. Mark is a co-founder of American Theatre Practice with which he has produced and directed several shows over the last 25 years.

Martin Balaguer (Dudley) is a bilingual Argentine actor & filmmaker with 20+ years of US & international experience. Credits: Roland Joffé’s There Be Dragons and Emmy-nominated Tough Love. A 2x “Best Comedy” winner (L.I. Film Expo),he blends dramatic training (Heidi Marshall) with sharp comedic roots (UCB). Fully bilingual (Native Argentine Spanish), Martin is an NC/ATL local hire with a professional home studio for high-turnover, industry-standard self-tapes.

Louise Martin (Mary, Queen of Scots)
Louise is thrilled to be a part of this reading. She is an accomplished award-winning stage and film actor, in NYC. She has been busy on the Raleigh Stage since arriving here a couple years ago. Justice Theatre, Dracula, a Feminist Revenge Fantasy-Renfield, A Few Good Men-Judge, Center Stage, Silent Sky-Willimena, Cary Players, A Murder is Announced-Bunny, Theatre in the Park, Noises Off-Dottie to name a few.

Drew Gulino (Essex) is both actor and improvisor. He appeared in Othello with Switch Theater in 2025 and Midsummer Night's Dream in 2022. He has been in a number of productions with Odyssey Stage and through the Orange County Arts Commission. He is an active member of an Improv Team since 2024 performing at Mettlesome as well as other Improv teams going back to 2010.

Jena Kaizen (Anne Boleyn) has had leading and supporting roles in community and musical theatre productions in NC, MA, and Guam. Among her favorite roles are Aunt Beast and Red Eyes in A Wrinkle in Time, Karen in SpongeBob the Musical, and Tansy in The Nerd. She is excited to be part of the development of Still She Stands!

Gerald Rubin (Egerton) has 10 years of improv experience has been active in triangle theater. He has been in Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, 12 Angry Jurors, Redwood, Purple Flower, Present Laughter, On The Banks Of The Eno, and other productions. Gerald is also an artist.

Marcia Decker (Director) has been active (off and on) in theater in the Triangle since 1980. She has appeared in 14 productions, including Design for Living, Crimes of the Heart, The Stronger, and A Winter’s Tale. On the other side of the footlights, she has served as stage manager for three plays at the ArtsCenter’s old Gallery Theater in Carr Mill (Company, The Grass Harp, and
P.S., Your Cat Is Dead), and has directed 12 plays and her 10th collaboration with playwright Cyndi Whisnant.

Cyndi Whisnant (playwright) is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a longtime resident of Carrboro, North Carolina. Throughout her career, she has worked in communications, marketing, event planning, and community engagement while remaining actively involved in the arts. A theatre enthusiast, performer, reviewer, and writer, Whisnant has a particular interest in stories that explore history, faith, and the human experience.

Marlene Bush (Narrator/ Stage Manager) After "retiring" from professional acting several years ago, Marlene has recently returned to the world of Theater and is currently writing a one-woman show. She has loved being a proud member of the Prime Time Players in Chapel Hill, and is enjoying participating in Still She Stands as the Narrator in the dramatic reading of the play and as stage manager for the workshop performance.

Naveed Moeed (ASM/Photographer) is a writer, actor, stage manager, and sound designer based in Chapel Hill. He co-hosts Spotlight on the Theatre, a recurring segment on Wayne Leonard’s Lights Up on WHUP. His original play Dupatta has received three staged readings, and he has written about the performing arts for Chatham Life & Style since 2019. He is thrilled to be a part of this production and thanks Cyndi and Marcia for the opportunity.
